About ME: As a Mainer and New Englander at heart, Karen now lives in Southern Maine where she has reunited with family. She is committed to utilize her organization, planning and implementation skills to help customers like you buy and sell their homes throughout Coastal Maine with an emphasis in York and Cumberland County specializing in relocation and lifestyle.

Karen was born in Rumford, Maine along with her brother and two sisters. She was raised in Connecticut but enjoyed long summers from mid-June to late August at their summer “camp” on Ellis Pond in Roxbury, Maine.  Camp was “home away from home” – a place of lasting memories with her parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins.  Camp represented a simpler time in life.  It was a place of laughter, card games, swimming, canoeing and summer romances.  There was truly nothing better than seeing the sign on the Maine Turnpike – Maine, The Way Life Should Be! This experience is the foundation of Karen’s life and continues today as the legacy was passed from her parents to the next generation!

Karen lives her life by a personal code of ethics of Trust, Honesty and Respect. 

She and her husband raised their family and called Sandy Hook, Connecticut home for over 25 years.  After transitioning from corporate life and a (long) commute to Manhattan, New York City, they embarked on the next Chapter of life in Sunny Florida. They found their match in Gran Paradiso - a resort-style, gated community located in Venice, Florida in Wellen Park. It was in Florida that Karen began her journey as a realtor with EXIT King Realty.

Karen Udiskey is a business development professional with over 25 years of experience in the luxury market. Prior to becoming a real estate agent, Karen spent much of her career as a Business Development Manager for an AVEDA Lifestyle Salon and Day Spa focused on Award Winning Customer Service as well as an unparalleled “experiential” sales approach using sight, smell and sound along with knowledge to evoke attachment and emotion in purchase. Karen utilizes this unique sales approach to create a memorable experience with buyers and sellers she supports in real estate.

She is a recognized realtor and recruiter with EXIT Realty Corporation in both Maine and Florida. Affiliated with EXIT Oceanside Realty in Wells, Maine as well as EXIT King Realty in Venice, Florida. Credentials and accreditations include Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Sellers Representative Specialist (SRS), Short Sale and Foreclosure Representative (SFR) as well as EXIT Realty Ambassador, NextDoor Neighborhood Favorite as well as the recipient of the EXIT King Realty ‘Exceptional Customer Service Award’ in 2021 – one of her most meaningful acknowledgements yet! 

In addition to being a realtor, Karen is a notary public in both Maine and New Hampshire. Karen served in Business Development and Marketing as a closer for Red Door Title providing customers with a streamlined professional real estate transaction in Southern Maine and New Hampshire Seacoast regions.
