Buying or selling a home can be a little stressful when taking into account that most people do not like change. And Kristin definitely knows about change. After serving almost 15 years in the industry, she is excited to make a switch from retail to residential. NY State Licensed since 2001, Kristin comes from a commercial real estate background. Specializing in property management for a large shopping center owner/developer as their Director of Leasing, with a portfolio of 600+ units stretching Long Island, from Glen Cove to Sag Harbor. On a daily basis, Kristin participated in negotiating complex, long term leases with local, national and global tenants, while also ensuring that the business at hand is the best fit for the local area and residents. Permits, variances, surveys, setbacks, operational costs, broker agreements, deeds, site plans, construction, turnover and renewals, you name it, she had a hand in it.
After taking a short time off to raise her young sons Thomas (6) and Justin (2), Kristin is excited to embrace change, get back in the action and take on the residential market. She believes that her experience in the commercial side will play a role in having a "bigger picture" of various neighborhoods when matching families with their desired housing goals. Kristin is a member in good standing of the Local Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors (NAR), and MLSLI.
