I have been in the real estate business for 25 years and am the managing broker for EXIT Realty Blues City, Jackson, TN and have served as one of the 9 members of the TN Real Estate Commission. I have been very active with my local association, Central West TN Association of REALTORS, as well as the state association, TN Association of REALTORS. I have served and continue to serve on various committees as well as have served on the local board of directors for 10 years, including serving as local association President for 3 years. I served as the state Vice President for West TN in 2006-2007. I have served as the Division Vice President for West TN for the International Counsel for TN Association of Realtors. I served as President for the Tennessee Real Estate Education Foundation in 2011 before taking my position as TN Real Estate Commissioner. I have been chosen by my peers as Realtor of the Year and am also a lifetime member of the multi-million dollar club. I have obtained several designations during my time as a REALTOR including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), and e-PRO and am also a Certified Real Estate Coach.

I was born and raised in Gadsden, TN and graduated high school there. I attended Jackson State Community College and have an Associates degree in Business Administration. I have lived in Panama City, FL and in England. I currently reside in Humboldt, TN and am widowed with 5 sons, and 8 grandsons and 3 granddaughters.  I have lived and worked around this area all my life with the exception of 3 years that I lived in FL and England.
