Nick Johnson

I was born and raised here on the Western Slope of Colorado and have been lucky enough to live in the Durango area for over 8 years. I was drawn to the mountains and its way of life just like the rest you. As an avid hiker, biker, skier, and golfer, there is always plenty do in this community for an outdoorsman like myself.

After attending the Leeds School of Business and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado, I began a career in banking in 2011. Working on the mortgage side of Real Estate transactions has given me a unique perspective on the home buying experience. I have always felt that my greatest role in helping customers through some of the biggest financial decisions of their lives, is to create ease of mind by making the process smooth and effortless.

Through this, I have a great passion for working with first time homebuyers. This passion is further expressed through my community involvement with local nonprofits. In teaching first time homebuyer courses with local organizations, I have been able to enlighten homebuyers and find affordable options of homeownership in Durango. Additionally, I have worked with the Chamber of Commerce and the Young Professionals of Durango helping find ways for young people to move to and stay in Durango.
