More About Me:

Growing up as the child of traveling evangelists, my early perspectives were shaped by trips to towns across the Sun Belt, the Caribbean, and Eastern Europe. The exposure to so many different communities, particularly during these critical, formative years, instilled a deep appreciation for the diversity of people and their cultures, all of which were unlike anything I’d ever known in my rural hometown of Sparta, Tennessee in White County (population 4,864 in 1980). As a result, I've developed an innate sense of empathy, experienced less as a deliberate practice and more as a reflection of an expansive world view, integral to my core value system and beliefs.

My professional background includes a broad spectrum of skills and competencies, through roles in office management, healthcare, property management, hospitality, and as a certified Master Barber, all of which have equipped me with exceptional skills in leadership, project managment, and top-tier customer service strategies.

My personal “Big Bang moment” ignited during the pandemic. With so many service and support roles dissolving and a surplus of free time – along with time spent in reflection, recalibration, and realignment – I decided to enroll in a real estate training program. Through the many hours spent learning all of the various aspects of the industry, I discovered a new career adventure which served as the perfect convergence of all my work and life experiences, eventually earning my license in late 2020. My work philosophy is grounded in the idea that a person's home is the foundation of their life and the backdrop to which they experience many of life’s joys, sorrows, and significant milestones. Helping you find that perfect home is purposeful and impactful!

In my own home, family, food, and music are paramount. I'm a proud parent and grandparent, and I provide a loving home for my niece and nephew. I like to spend time with my family near water, whether it’s the beach or one of Tennessee’s legendary area lakes, rivers, and waterfalls. Did you know that in Middle Tennessee — bordered by the Tennessee River in the west and the Cumberland Plateau in the east, with Kentucky in the north and Alabama in the south — there are 59 state parks? That's more than one state park to explore every week of the year!

I’m also a self-described “foodie” where, informed by the many cuisines I experienced as a child, I love to explore local restaurants, culinary events, and farmer’s markets, elements of which are visible in my own home cooking. Although I enjoy cooking traditional southern-style dishes, it’s impossible to escape the culinary influences of a life well-travelled.

Finally, having grown up among the many congregations of the church, which centers the traditions of gospel music as a foundational tenet, I enjoy karaoke, playing the piano, participating in choirs, and occasionally competing in local singing competitions. I’ve actually won a few prizes! Between showings and whenever I have a moment to recharge, I can be found listening to classical music, blues, and, my favorite, jazz from the 50s and 60s.
