Hello! I'm Mitchell Covert, a dedicated real estate professional with EXIT Professional Real Estate. Born and raised in South Central Wisconsin, I bring a deep understanding of our local communities, a strong commitment to serving others, and a passion for helping clients achieve their real estate goals.
My professional background is anything but traditional, and I consider that one of my greatest strengths. Before transitioning into real estate, I built a career in software engineering and project management, developing valuable skills in problem-solving, strategic planning, organization, and attention to detail. I also spent years serving my community as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) and 911 dispatcher, where I learned the importance of remaining calm under pressure, communicating effectively, making informed decisions, and advocating for others during some of life's most challenging moments.
These experiences have shaped the way I approach real estate today. Whether you're buying your first home, selling a property, expanding your real estate portfolio, or exploring your next investment opportunity, I strive to be more than just your real estate agent. My goal is to be a trusted resource, knowledgeable advisor, and strong advocate throughout every step of the process. I combine analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and a client-first approach to help you make confident, informed decisions.
Community involvement has always been an important part of who I am. I maintain strong ties throughout South Central Wisconsin through volunteering, serving on nonprofit boards, supporting local organizations, and giving back whenever possible. I believe strong communities are built by people who invest their time, energy, and resources into making them better, and I'm proud to play a part in that.
I'm also honored to be a Homes for Heroes® affiliated real estate agent, working alongside one of Wisconsin's leading Homes for Heroes teams. This program allows me to give back to the firefighters, EMS professionals, law enforcement officers, military members, healthcare professionals, and educators who dedicate their lives to serving others. With my own background in emergency services, this mission is especially meaningful to me.
