About Carolyn
Carolyn was born in Toledo, Ohio and graduated from The University of Toledo with a
Bachelor's Degree in Biology and General Science. She then moved to New York City where
she worked as a laboratory technologist and a pharmaceutical sales representative. She then
obtained a real estate license, eventually becoming a broker and opening her own brokerage in
Brooklyn, Fort Greene Properties. Carolyn also owned and operated Carolyn's Gourmet
Creations, specializing in baked goods sold to gourmet food stores throughout New York City.
Carolyn returned to the laboratory upon relocating to New Orleans but soon thereafter she
obtained a law degree from Southern University Law Center. She practiced law for several years
in New Orleans and continued to practice upon relocating to Washington D.C. in 2011. She has
now returned to real estate and has obtained a salesperson license in the District of Columbia.
