George Markhay is a lifelong resident of Rogers Park and has a passion for connecting great people with great properties. His family has been in the remodeling business for generations, and he has worked with both his father and uncle on kitchens, baths and more.  This breadth of construction experience allows George a unique perspective on the real estate industry, and gives him a vision as to what a property could be, beyond the condition it is in today.  He also has worked in the furniture sales industry, so he has an eye for design and layout within a home.

George attended St Margaret Mary Elementary School and North Town Academy High School, building deep roots in the north side of Chicago.  Seeing other relatives get into real estate as both agents and investors/owners lead George to get his license as well, and affiliate with EXIT Strategy Realty, a bustling brokerage group across Chicagoland with 5 offices and over 250 agents.  George has a unique set of tools through EXIT Strategy Realty including the Zenlist property search app, finding up to 20% more properties available then on the traditional search portals including “private” and “preview” listings, for sale, rent and more.
