Shelly Lester

I’m a seasoned agent with EXIT Realty East Coast as a REALTOR® in Monmouth County, New Jersey.  Having been raised in The Bronx, New York, with a stopover in Queens, I settled in Holmdel, New Jersey twenty years ago. I was drawn to the town because of its proximity to New York City, its stunning beaches as well as the beautiful park system. My market is mostly Monmouth County including Holmdel, Middletown, Hazlet and surrounding areas.

EXIT Realty East Coast in Holmdel, New Jersey has been in existence since 1987. They focus on residential, commercial, and luxury real estate with offices in Holmdel and West Long Branch and are conveniently located to help their clients with all of their Real Estate needs.

With an MBA in finance, I had an extensive career in banking, lending itself well to the role of REALTOR®. Having audited mortgages, financial statements, and compliance to various banking regulations - fair lending, anti-money laundering, FinCEN reporting, to name a few. My expertise in these areas ensures that I can offer my clients a fair and honest approach to their buying and/or selling experience. 

My Real Estate experience is well – rounded - helping listing clients as well as buyers. The transaction I’m most proud of is helping an owner in foreclosure to get a fair price for their house to enable them to have enough funds to move on with their lives.

On a personal level, I am a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), and the Auxiliary of the American Legion in Union Beach. My hobbies include oil painting, writing (published my first book) and crafts.
