About John
John began his Real Estate career shortly after retiring as an award winning dairyman in 1989. John joined the sales staff at Armell & Gleason Real Estate Inc. a company that dates back to 1964. A Modesto native and graduate of Modesto High and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
John has been active in numerous community organizations including Chamber of Commerce, Farm Bureau, Doctors Medical Center Foundation, McHenry Mansion, Kiwanis of Greater Modesto, Association of Realtors, Rental Property Association and the Farm and Land Brokers. A Broker since 1991, John became the first Exit Realty Franchise owner in California on May 1, 2001.
John and his wife, Mary Ellen, have been married for 48 years and became first time parents on December 26, 2001. He speaks several languages: income property, investment property, agricultural/commercial property and property management. John also loves to talk about Exit Realty and the San Franciso Giants!
