Being born & raised in the small community of New Germany, Gary is a lifelong resident of the South Shore of Nova Scotia and is extremely knowledgeable about the area. Before obtaining his real estate license and entering the real estate industry in 2003, Gary attended Acadia University from 1991-1995 when he earned his teaching certificate and was a teacher from 1995-2002.
Gary enjoys all sports and many outdoor activities which gives home a true appreciation for the beauty of the area. Gary is also very active in the community umpiring softball, refereeing basketball, and was a member of the South Shore Regional School Board from 2004-2011.
Professionally Gary is also a member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada as a residential appraiser, and is past president of the Nova Scotia Association of REALTORS ®. Currently Gary is the facilitator for the Atlantic Collaborative made up of the Real Estate Boards & Associations in Atlantic Canada.
