Karen Farragher started her career in Real Estate after leaving corporate America in 1999. Her goal was to jump in head first, she was either going to sink or swim, and sinking wasnt an option. She joined a local franchise office in her hometown of Bayonne New Jersey where she specialized in Absentee Owners, Residential Rentals and Residential Sales. Four years after getting her salespersons license she got her brokers license. Looking to better her future she joined the EXIT office in Bayonne and after kicking the tires in EXIT Karen along with her husband Bill opened their own EXIT Franchise in Woodbridge, NJ. They operated EXIT First Choice Realty from January 2005 until April 2012 when it was sold to a new ambitious owner.

Karen served as a Director on the Middlesex County Association of Realtors 2012 Board of Directors. She also served on several committees including the Grievance, Community Service, RPAC and Professional Standards. Karen has also been actively involved with the Womens Council of Realtors where she served as committee chair for the community service and newsletter committees.

Karen has earned her SFR Designation which stands for Short Sale and Foreclosure Recourse from the National Association of Realtors. She is constantly looking to improve her skills to better serve her clients.

Karen works side by side with her husband Bill when deaing with clients. Together they are known as "The Dream Team". A cool thing about them is that they blend the people side of real estate and the technology side of real estate together to give their clients a first class experience.

In her spare time she likes to crochet, read and spend time with her family. Because she has no kids of her own she volunteers her time with the International Order of Rainbow for Girls an organization very dear to her heart. Having grown up in the organization she wants to give back some of what they taught her. She is also a member of the Order of Eastern Star of New Jersey.

Tiffany, Brian, Michele and Renee, Karens nieces and nephew are the ones she gets to spoil on a regular basis and they love it. They lovingly call her AK which stands for Aunt Karen. There isnt anything in the world she wouldnt do for those kids.

Karen is now affiliated with EXIT Blue Water Realty in Matawan, NJ. She is looking forward to the next phase of her career, helping to grow that office to the place she knows it can go.
