Greg Ruehlen

I am the Co-Owner and Designated Broker of EXIT Heart of Texas Realty and Anthem Rentals. Having lived and worked in Central Texas since my first active-duty assignment to Fort Hood in 1996, I bring deep firsthand knowledge of the local real estate market and its continued growth. Since earning my real estate license in 2006, I have helped clients navigate the area’s ever-changing landscape with confidence, specializing in custom home builders, investors, and first-time home buyers.

I hold a BS in Web Development and an AAS in Applied Technologies, which help me leverage modern tools and technology to better serve my clients in a fast-moving market. I also hold multiple National Association of Realtors designations, including Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), and e-PRO®.

My wife, Cheryl, and I are originally from the Detroit metro area, but we made the Fort Hood area our home in 1996. Over the years, I have remained deeply invested in this community through nearly 20 years of volunteer service as a soccer coach and through board service with several non-profit organizations. I am also a retired U.S. Army combat veteran with more than 20 years of active service. In addition to leading EXIT Heart of Texas Realty and Anthem Rentals, I teach Law of Agency, Real Estate Finance, and Real Estate Principles at Central Texas College.

I truly enjoy helping others, whether I’m mentoring the next generation of industry leaders, supporting my community, or guiding buyers, sellers, and investors through important real estate decisions.
