Art Winsor

Art was born and raised in St. John,s.  He attended Memorial University where he received a B. Sc. (Physics), B. Ed. (Secondary) and a M. Ed. (Learning Resources).  He started his teaching career in Bay de Verde, where he taught for eight years before moving to Clarenville in 1990. Since living here he has taught and was an administrator at Random Island Academy, Clarenville High, Balbo Elementary and Riverside Elementary. He retired in 2014.  Since living in Clarenville he has been involved in Ducks Unlimited, Clarenville Area Soccer Association, Vista Games Organizing Committee and  the Clarenville Wave Runners Swim Club as well as Co-Secretary of the Clarenville Kiwanis Music Festival and Vice President of the Clarenville Kiwanis Club  up to 2019.
